BIO
SIBLING is a design collective that works at the intersection of architecture, urbanism, cultural analysis and graphic communication to produce new and unexpected spatial outcomes. Whether the outcome be a building, installation, urban strategy or event, SIBLING’s approach insists on intelligent forms while fostering a positive socially engaged agenda.
SIBLING produce design from within a participatory and research based studio environment, merging our largescale capabilities and experience with the adaptability, innovative culture and individual focus of a smaller practice.
The civic nature of SIBLING extends to members being regularly invited to lecture and teach at institutions in Australia and internationally, and having contributed to various design publications, including Volume, Pin Up magazine, Architecture Australia and Architecture Review Asia Pacific. SIBLING is a network of eight people who are all trained in architecture and maintain active practice across the globe. Additional fields of expertise include landscape architecture, graphic design, cultural studies and commerce. SIBLING is led by Amelia Borg, Nicholas Braun, Jonathan Brener, Jessica Brent, Jane Caught, Qianyi Lim, Timothy Moore & Alan Ting.
